<p>With cases of mining mafia elevated because of the recent case of murdering DSP Surendra Singh of Haryana, many similar groups are being reported in other states as well. A saint in Bharatpur, Rajasthan tried to set himself on fire to put pressure on the authorities to take actions against the mining mafia, and protests are done in the various towns. Meanwhile, a truck being stuck in the waters of floods in Bhind belonged to one of these mafia groups. The question of who is behind such a vast reach of mining mafia still remains unanswered. </p>
