Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert of heavy rain at different places in Kangra, Chamba, Bilaspur, Sirmaur and Mandi districts. State IMD Deputy Director Bui Lal said, “Moderate to heavy rains will be seen in the next 5 days. Orange alert has been issued for the next 12 hours for the entire state, yellow alert has been issued for the rest of the days till August 24.</p>
